*SPECIAL NEEDS - DEAF*

 

Meet Milhouse - part muppet, part luck dragon, part...dachshund??? I truly don't know what this adorable little creature is, but whatever he is - he's cute. Clocking in at about a year old and only 15 lbs, he is going to stay really tiny - and it honestly makes him even more adorable.

 

Milhouse is special needs because he is deaf - and though he has the most striking blue eyes that make people think he can't see - his vision seems just fine! And being deaf certainly doesn't slow him down!! He is a typical goofy young dog - he is playful with other dogs and LOVES them! He is also very outgoing and friendly to all people!

 

He is still learning in the house training realm, and crate training - but has come really far in a short 2 weeks! He is also the CUTEST sleeper - he tucks his little toe beans up under his chest, and loves to sleep on his back. He also hops around like a little jumping bean when he gets excited. He honestly is just a nice guy - he's friendly and playful, and wants attention and love! He does bark sometimes to get other dogs to play - and it is this very squeaky bark, probably mostly because he can't hear himself...but he responds nicely to redirection, and we have started working on sign language too! He's a fast learner who wants to please, and is very people oriented. He is going to make someone a terrific best friend!
