We are contacted on a daily basis by people looking to rehome their dogs due to unfortunate circumstances and on a few occasions we are able to help.  However, we are only able to do this if we have an open foster home, if the dog is friendly with other dogs and people, and the dog passes our intake criteria.  We are not able to take in a dog that has any signs of aggression or has a bite history.   The safety of our foster homes and their family and pets is our primary concern.

Dogs are family and we strongly encourage owners to reach out to family members for help and to the professionals (your veterinarian, trainers/behaviorists, etc) before making the decision to rehome your dog.
