Meet Valor!

When Valor came to us about a month ago, he was just a 9 month old puppy (as of January 2026) in need of help. He arrived from ACCT Philly with a severe skin infection and non contagious mange, uncomfortable and exhausted, clearly having been struggling for far too long. Thanks to one of our incredible foster homes who said yes, Valor was able to get the veterinary care he needed, start treatment, and finally settle into a safe place where he could rest and heal.
Since then, Valor has truly blossomed! He lives in a home with friendly dogs, cats, and two young children, and he does wonderfully with everyone. Valor is incredibly gentle, respectful, and easygoing, the kind of dog who fits right in. He can be a little shy when first meeting new people (who can blame him) and prefers to hang back and take things in. But once he knows he is safe, he warms up quickly and happily makes you his new best friend. Valor has such a sweet, calm, and loving personality. He does well in a crate and is doing great with his housetraining. He enjoys going for car rides, playing with his human and four legged foster siblings, and curling up for a cozy nap when playtime is over.
