Meet Benedict!

 

Benedict is a ~6-month-old (as of December 2025) black and white pitty/terrier mix who is basically the definition of floppy, goofy, lovable puppy perfection. He loves everyone—dogs, people, you name it—and follows me around like my own little shadow. This sweet boy came to us from a Philadelphia shelter where he was surrendered and became urgent due to vomiting and diarrhea. He was heartbreakingly close to being euthanized for being so sick—but we stepped in, and we’re so glad we did! Thankfully, Benedict has made a full recovery and is doing AMAZING. All of his bloodwork and testing have been normal, and we suspect he may have had a reaction or toxin exposure. Whatever it was, it's behind him now and he's thriving.

 

Benedict is working on his house training, loves going for walks, and just went on his first hike in his foster home—he was a natural! He’s active but not over-the-top, and when the adventure is over, he’s happy to curl up for snuggles. He has the best snores, gives top-tier cuddles, and is obsessed with toys. We think Benedict would be fantastic in a home with another dog, kids, and humans who are looking for a true furry best friend to join them on all of life’s adventures. 🐕🏞️🛋️ ✨ Benedict will be fully vaccinated and neutered as part of his adoption. ✨
