Meet Karma!

From the moment we first saw Karma, it was heartbreakingly clear that her first few months of existence had not been kind. The condition she was found in did not happen overnight. She came into the shelter as a stray, suffering from a severe and painful skin infection along with non-contagious mange, clear signs that she had been struggling for quite some time. We knew immediately that she needed help, comfort, and a chance to finally feel safe. Karma joined us a little over three weeks ago, and the transformation since then has been nothing short of amazing. Today, she is absolutely thriving in foster care and loving life. Her skin is healing beautifully, her coat is coming back in, and her personality is shining brighter every single day.

Karma is a petite pittie and terrier mix, estimated to be around 6 to 7 months old. She is goofy, playful, and full of life. She has that joyful puppy energy that keeps everyone smiling, paired with a sweetness that makes her impossible not to love. She does well in a crate and is doing great with house training. Karma is currently living in a foster home with multiple dogs of all sizes and gets along wonderfully with everyone. She would love a home with another friendly dog, but she could also do just fine as an only pup as long as her people are home more often than not. Karma truly loves company and being part of the action. Karma loves all people, but she may be a little too much for very young children. Not in a negative way at all. She is still a puppy learning her manners and sometimes thinks playtime includes a bit of nibbling. The good news is that she is extremely smart, very treat motivated, and eager to please, so we expect her to pick this up quickly with continued guidance and training.
